Hello! My name is Adam Yassine, I'm a game and narrative designer currently based in Austin, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Entertainment Technologies.
During my time at UT, I was able to work on multiple collaborative class projects and try my hand at the different roles that go into making a game such as level design, programming, production, and narrative design. I also had the opportunity to participate in the UT 2020 Game Jam hosted by EGaDS!, where I was the narrative designer, editor, and one of the writers for "Hugh Dunnit & the Murder at Mc'Guilty Mansion", winning the award for Best Narrative. I have always had a very active imagination, loved telling stories to audiences big and small, and playing video games of different genres. However, it wasn't until my second year at UT that I realized my creativity, passion for storytelling, and hours of gaming could translate to a viable career path. After graduating I completed Google's Project Management certification, participated in my first NaNoWriMo challenge, started writing posts for my game review blog, and published my first children's book, "Eeyore The Big Brother", while also working on a few other projects that aren't quite ready to share so stay tuned for more from me. I enjoy working with others to achieve a common goal and am self-disciplined to manage project timelines and collaborative team efforts. I strive to build an enjoyable work environment focused on achieving success measures and supporting peers to overcome challenges together. |
