Synopsis:
Detective Amelia O'Finnigan and her assistant Pan are called to investigate a murder at Dionysus' penthouse! Take on the role of the detective, looking for clues and interrogating gods and goddesses to uncover what is truth and what is myth.
About:
An Enemy in Our Myths is a 2D interactive visual novel that I worked on as my final project for the Arts and Entertainment Technologies program at the University of Texas at Austin from September 5th, 2021 - December 9th, 2021.

Responsibilities:
For this project, I came up with the initial concept and title, then working in a group of six students began to develop the project. I was responsible for all story and written elements, I created asset lists for the artists, concept documents with mood boards and descriptions for the environment art and item art and CG scenes, provide feedback on art assets to insure they matched the intended direction of the project, collaborated with team members to design gameplay elements, assisted in finding and reporting bugs, and provided feedback on gameplay, managed the production schedule and made changes based on the needs of the team and time constraints, created concept pitch documents, narrative treatments, story beat sheet, gameplay trailer, and collaborated with team members to create multiple presentations for professors and other students.

Inventory Item Descriptions:
Inventory item text appears when players look through the detective's notes. They provide a summary of the information the detective has gathered during the investigation.
Character Dialogue:
Character dialogue is used to convey information to the player, move the story along, and show the different characters' personalities.
During certain scenes the player will be able to choose between different dialogue options. Depending on the option the player chooses they will learn different pieces of information to help them solve the case.
